christmas countdown
It’s getting coler outside, days become shorter and it’s getting more and more uncomfortable to go outside in general. But hat’s not what it has to be like!
Even if we’re moving towards the end of the year and also towards the cold season in rapid speed we havve the possibility to set focus on the things that happe inside and build a cozy place of our own here.
Let’s be honest, the perfect time to sip a warm tea, to cuddle up on the couch with a nice book, to bake delicious cookies and to spend evenings with your loved ones at home is RIGHT NOW.

And I have an additional extra for you.
No more freezing feet!

Even if men are the one’s to be nagging about that typical women’s phenomenon we are actually the ones suffering from it. Before I go to bed the bedroom has to be well heated and I hide a hot-water-bottle under my blanket. And sometimes the nice and cozy “lying o the cuch and reading a book” thing is taking a lot of strenght off me.
With perceivingly 5 pullovers to keep you from freezing it’s getting hard to even turn the pages of a book.

Here’s my solution for you.

This XXL heating blanket garantees you some warm and cozy moments. doesn’t matter if you want to spend time with a book on the couch or if you actually want to sleep.
When I first unpacked the blanket and tried it I laughingly found you could try talking me into taking a gucci handbag but I would never replace this blanket with it after all.
I have to admit that after a long time of searching I already bought a heating blanket last year but my cat just snared it. A lucky incident, because the Dr. Watson XXL heating blanket is different from all the heating blankets I ever came across. It’s soft an cuddly and not stiff at all, because of it’s micro plush material. You can really cuddle up and get evenly warmed at the same time.

Warm glows are a MUST during the cold season.
The 120 wattts performence can be regulated on 3 levels for individual needs.
And nobody has to get jealous since the blanket is with it’s 200x180cm big enough for two persons to cuddle up in it perfectly.

Another highlight for bookworms like me who fall asleep while reading easily is the fact that the blanket turns itself off after 3 hours. I’m in love with this heating blanket and warmly recommend it to you.

You can get the Klarstein Dr. Watson XXL heating blanket HERE.

Since my “little” sister started working at a retro record shop in cologne I get flooded with vinyls. But I have to admit that I’ve always been a person who likes to “hold something in their hands” rather than downloading songs.
It’s sure convenient to listen to musik online or on your phone but at home I prefere looking at a buldging shelf and pull out some vinyls to actively decide what I want to listen to without annoying ads or breaks when your internet connection decides to break down.

Owning a record-player has a high up place on my furnishing bucketlist since I moved out from home.
Especially in winter you get that special feeling while pulling a vinyl out of it’s envelop, breathing in the heavy smell of it’s paper, placing the needle on the record and watching it rotate in hypnotive circular motions.

I fell in love with the record-player like in shock. The mixture of high-quality and luxury but still retro is just perfect and makes listening to music a pleasant experience for ears AND eyes. I love it’s high-quality workmanship and it’s retro design.
Another highlight – there’s also a mp3-port so if you can’t live without it you don’t have to.

If you also fell in love with the nostalgic design record-player auna Verticalo S Retro-Design, can get it HERE.

Let’s be honest, with this awesome item you HAVE TO be excited for the cold season to come.

Amely Rose auf der Fashionweek in Berlin, ein cooler zweiteiler Look im vintagestyle. Amely Rose auf der Fashionweek in Berlin, ein cooler zweiteiler Look im vintagestyle. It’s raining, but it’s beautiful. In Berlin, everything is beautiful.
And while I’m watching the dense raindrops streaming down the shop windows, I see them. Flowers. The most beautiful ones I have ever seen. They’ve probably been boring, normal pink flowers, but I’m standing in front of a florist in Berlin and for some reason this moved me to buy these flowers. I can’t even tell you what kind of flowers they were, they’re just Berlin Flowers.
The flowers in the display are so pretty. I’d like to buy two!”
Two? Two flowers? Who buys only two flowers nowadays? I’ll give you the entire bucket.”
There it is again, the city covers you confidently in its beauty and you’re powerless against it.

Intimidated, I’m taken aback: “I only have two euros, and I really can’t take an entire bucket of flowers around Berlin”. Surprised, she’s looking at me. “Why not?” she asks and hands me the bucket, that’s at least half my size.
I stumble around Berlin, it’s raining and my sight is blocked by pink flowers. But that’s okay, because they are beautiful. Those Berlin Flowers that smell like an old woman and make everyone on the tram hate me.

Excuse me, is this the way to the Haubentaucher?”
That’s not my hood, sweetheart.”
I get replied in a thick Berlin accent. Five minutes pass by until I dare asking the next local, and again I am confronted with the overflowing emotion of the capital. “Yo, visitor! I like that you’re trying to learn something around here. To the Haubentaucher? It’s like walking through history!” He promises me another five minutes by foot, so now it’s nine times five minutes… But I don’t care, the dialect makes up for it. Sexy, but different. Yet in Berlin, everything is different. When you’re looking for a place, in a hurry, you get neatly close to every piece of the Berlin scene. At some point, I arrive at my destination, it “only” took 17 train stops and 11 Berlin people (that I asked for the way) from the Florist.

I hope you like the pictures, what is your favorite city in Germany?

This would be my battle cry as a zombie,
and I would follow you to the bitter end in my glitter heels,
piece by piece!
And just in case someone asked,
this is what happens when Girls have too much free time!
Don’t blame us, we can only exist in prides and when we pan out of subjects
we imagine how a BARBIE-Zombie-Attack would look like.
Just like this!
And just in case we have even more than “too much” free time,

we try it out and do the make up which took us more than 4 hours and sit it out!
